A man has died after the vehicle he was operating crossed into the opposing lane and collided with another car. West Yorkshire Police reported that the incident took place at approximately 12:30 GMT on Saturday. A red Seat Arona, traveling on the A637 Bar Lane towards Midgley, near Wakefield, struck a black BMW that was moving in the opposite direction. The 85-year-old driver of the Seat was pronounced dead at the scene. The individual driving the BMW was transported to a hospital and subsequently released. Officers are appealing for anyone with information regarding the collision to come forward.
