A murder investigation has been initiated after a woman was discovered deceased at a residence in Greater Manchester. Police responded to Furness Square in Bolton on Tuesday morning following reports expressing concern for the woman’s welfare. The 59-year-old was pronounced dead upon their arrival. Greater Manchester Police announced that a 42-year-old man has been apprehended on suspicion of murder.
