Two individuals assaulted at York taxi rank

Police reported that a man and a woman were attacked at a taxi rank in York by individuals they had encountered during an evening out. The male victim sustained black eyes and a broken nose as a result of the incident, which occurred at Duncombe Place on Wednesday, November 6, between 04:00 and 04:30 GMT. North Yorkshire Police stated that the victims had initially met the suspects at the Drawing Board bar earlier that night before being followed to the taxi rank. After previously issuing an appeal to locate two men linked to the event, the police force confirmed it has since identified both individuals.
