A teenager has appeared in court following the stabbing of a 15-year-old boy in Elgin. The incident occurred on Saturday evening on the High Street of the Moray town. The teenager involved was transported to Dr Gray’s Hospital for treatment and subsequently discharged. A 16-year-old male, whose identity is withheld due to his age, presented at Elgin Sheriff Court. He was charged with assault to the danger of life, made no plea, and was released on bail.
