Police have confirmed the arrest of two individuals after a man sustained serious injuries during an assault in Plymouth. Devon and Cornwall Police stated that their officers responded to a report of an altercation on Courtenay Street around 00:35 GMT on Friday. According to the force, a 35-year-old man suffered a serious injury and was transported to the hospital. Two men, both 21 years old, have been taken into custody on suspicion of assault and are currently being held by police. The police confirmed that a scene guard is still in effect and urged anyone with relevant information to come forward.
