The Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) confirmed that four fire engines were dispatched to the incident, which commenced on Church Street shortly before 18:30 GMT. Fire crews utilized an aerial platform to extinguish the flames and were observed directing water from ground level towards adjacent shops and structures. LFRS reported that fire engines originated from Preston, Bamber Bridge, and Blackpool.
