Firefighters were called to rescue a dog that became trapped within an underground pipe. The animal, identified as Tango, an English pointer, is believed to have been startled by an unknown factor during a walk with its owner in Epping Forest on Saturday morning. Personnel from Essex Fire and Rescue Service utilized “chimney rods, positive reinforcement, and a carefully planned approach to encourage him out” of the subterranean conduit, which was situated beneath a footpath. Tango was subsequently reunited with his owner, safe and without injury. For updates on Essex news, follow BBC Sounds, Facebook, Instagram, and X. Copyright 2024 BBC. All rights reserved.
