Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed that a cyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision in Exeter. Emergency services responded to Bridge Road at approximately 15:30 GMT on Friday, following an incident involving a black Audi Q5 and the cyclist. The cyclist, an Exeter man in his 70s, suffered life-threatening injuries and was subsequently taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. The Audi driver, a Dawlish resident also in his 70s, was reported to be uninjured. Authorities have requested that anyone with information or pertinent dashcam footage contact them. Officers specifically stated their interest in speaking with the driver of a white Ford Transit van who provided assistance at the scene.
