An individual taken into custody on suspicion of the murder of a woman at a residence has been granted police bail. Emergency services personnel were dispatched to a property situated in Holywell Place, Milton Keynes, during the early hours of Saturday. Thames Valley Police reported that the woman, identified as 42-year-old Carol Georgiou, subsequently died in hospital. Police officials stated that a post-mortem examination had been carried out, but the precise cause of Ms. Georgiou’s death remains to be determined. They added that “further forensic tests” were required. Det Ch Insp Mike Roddy stated: “We are continuing our investigation into this tragic incident, and Carol’s family are being supported by specially trained officers. I would again ask anybody who believes they have any information which may assist our investigation to call us on 101 or report online.” Updates on news from Beds, Herts, and Bucks are accessible via BBC Sounds, Facebook, Instagram, and X.
