A train operating company has announced its plans to operate Halloween-themed services to commemorate the occasion. Southeastern will introduce a special “ghost train” service, running between London Charing Cross and Pluckley in Kent, a location widely recognized as the most haunted in the UK. This service, named “Trainsylvania,” is scheduled to depart from London Charing Cross at 10:34 GMT on Thursday. Its route will include stops at Waterloo East, London Bridge, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Paddock Wood, Marden, Staplehurst, Headcorn, and Pluckley. Southeastern stated that the return journey will leave Pluckley at 14:36 and arrive back at Charing Cross at 15:54. The company also mentioned that games available on the train are designed for travellers of all ages and are intended to keep everyone “entertrained.” Passengers who participate in these games will be permitted to take them home. Matt Hawken, Area Manager at Southeastern, commented: “We’re thrilled to offer our customers a unique and thrilling experience this Halloween with our ghost train to Pluckley. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with games companies and enjoy some spooky games and create unforgettable memories. “We can’t wait to see everyone in their Halloween best.” Post navigation Bali Flights Halted Amidst Dangerous Volcanic Ash Guernsey’s Visitor Numbers Remain Below Pre-Pandemic Levels
