Rob Edwards, who has managed Luton Town for 97 games, has indicated that his squad’s away performance is an obvious area for enhancement as they strive to move further from the Championship relegation places. Following Tuesday’s 2-1 victory over Stoke City at Kenilworth Road, the team has accumulated 18 points from their last nine home matches, placing them five points clear of the bottom three. “Our form at home is promotion form – Kenilworth Road is that fortress for us,” Edwards informed BBC Three Counties Radio. He continued, “There won’t be many teams with better home form than us over the past nine or 10 games.” Luton is set to visit Blackburn Rovers in the Championship on Saturday, having experienced six consecutive away losses. “It’s clear where we need to improve, it’s obvious,” Edwards further stated. “We’ve got to transfer that home form away and we’re working really hard to try to do that.”
