Police in Guernsey have announced that their officers will conduct highly visible patrols during the period leading up to Christmas. Bailiwick Law Enforcement confirmed an “enhanced police presence” was deployed in St Peter Port on Thursday, coinciding with late-night shopping hours. The agency encouraged members of the public to approach officers if they required assistance. It stated, “The enhanced police presence is nothing to worry about. We’re there just in case you do need us.” Separately, officers reported that two children were apprehended on Wednesday night under suspicion of throwing eggs at Marks and Spencer’s. The force commented, “While this may sound like a minor incident, anti-social behaviour is something that materially changes the community we live in, which is why we will continue to take it very seriously.” Post navigation Temporary Traffic Signals Installed on A47 Amidst Body Investigation Man Jailed for Attempted Rape and Multiple Sexual Offences
