The planned closure of a significant road in Salford, intended for regeneration efforts, has been deferred. Drivers had previously been advised to anticipate potential disruptions lasting four weeks on Frederick Road in Salford. According to the city council, the £13.2 million Salford Rise development is designed to enhance connectivity between communities throughout the region and facilitate the opening of new development sites within the Innovation District, situated close to the University of Salford. A spokesperson for Salford City Council indicated that revised dates for the road’s temporary closure will be disclosed at a later time.
