Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR), a rail operator serving south east England, has revealed the service additions to its upcoming timetable, which will commence on December 15. GTR manages the Thameslink, Southern, and Gatwick Express services. Among the adjustments are four additional evening services on weekdays (Monday to Friday) for the London Victoria – East Grinstead line. Two departures from the London terminal are scheduled for 20:20 GMT and 21:20, while two return services will depart East Grinstead at 21:36 and 22:36. Furthermore, an extra weekday evening service will operate from London Bridge to Uckfield, with its departure set for 22:07. Two more services are also being introduced on midweek days for the Bognor Regis to London Bridge route. A morning service will depart Bognor at 07:02, reaching London at 08:58. The corresponding return journey will leave London Bridge at 18:03, arriving in the West Sussex coastal town at 19:49. Both these services will include stops via Littlehampton and Horsham. Moreover, additional Southern services are planned between Norwood Junction and London Bridge, stopping at all intermediate stations via Sydenham. Extra services will also be available on the East Croydon to London Victoria route via Selhurst. Adjustments have also been implemented for the Streatham Hill to London Bridge route, which operates via Tulse Hill and Hackbridge. These changes involve an increase in services originating from, or extending to, Sutton. GTR further stated that certain Thameslink services have been re-timed across the network to facilitate improved connections. The operator noted “no significant” alterations to Gatwick Express services. Comprehensive details for all services are accessible through the GTR or National Rail journey planners.
