Guidelines for Submitting Images to Oxfordshire’s Big Picture

The BBC invites residents to contribute images showcasing the beauty of Oxfordshire for a daily feature. Submissions can be made through BBC Weather Watchers or by emailing southweather@bbc.co.uk. To submit a picture, use BBC Weather Watchers or send an email to southweather@bbc.co.uk. For creative guidance, advice from three of England’s Big Picture photographers is available. When submitting images via email, contributors must include the requested information. While all submissions are appreciated, preference is given to photographs taken within the last week. An archive of previously featured pictures is accessible on Instagram using the hashtags #bbcsouthnews and #OxfordshiresBigPicture. By submitting a picture, individuals agree to adhere to the BBC’s Terms and Conditions and its privacy policy. Contributions to Oxfordshire’s Big Picture grant the BBC a royalty-free, non-exclusive license to publish and utilize the material across any media globally. It is important to understand that contributors retain copyright to their submitted work, and if an image is selected, the contributor’s name will be published with it.
