Burnley records tenth league clean sheet of the season

Burnley has now recorded 10 clean sheets in the league and has not allowed more than a single goal in any of their games this season. The total of six goals conceded represents the lowest number at this point in a second-tier campaign since Manchester United’s 1924-25 season. The victory on Saturday also marked Burnley’s third consecutive clean sheet, coming after a goalless draw against West Brom and a 1-0 win against Swansea City prior to the international break.
