An inquiry has commenced following an incident in Leicester city centre where one man sustained a stab wound and another was injured during an altercation. Leicestershire Police reported that officers responded to a call on Granby Street around 02:15 GMT on Saturday. The individual who was stabbed was transported to a hospital, where his condition is described as “serious but stable.” The police force further stated that a second man sustained head injuries, reportedly caused by what is thought to be a glass or bottle. As of Saturday afternoon, a police cordon remains in place at the scene, situated close to the Turkey Cafe, while law enforcement investigations proceed. The police are appealing for anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward and contact the force.
