An individual has been charged with murder following the discovery of a 77-year-old man’s body inside a house. Merseyside Police reported that Alfred Langley was found deceased with a head injury at approximately 22:10 GMT on Tuesday, at a property situated on Clipsley Lane in Haydock. Peter Langley, aged 33, residing on Clipsley Lane, Haydock, faces a murder charge and is scheduled to appear at South Sefton Magistrates’ Court at a later time.
