Two men have acknowledged their responsibility for the death of a teenager and for seriously injuring two other individuals in a vehicle collision. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of 11 June 2022, involved a Vauxhall Corsa colliding with a Skoda Fabia on the B1249 close to Driffield, East Yorkshire, leading to the death of 17-year-old Jack Stabler. The collision, which took place around 01:40 BST, also resulted in serious injuries for two additional individuals. Earlier, at Hull Crown Court, Joshua Walker, 20, residing at Middle Street, Kilham, and Ty Pettinger, also 20, from Main Street, Bainton, both entered guilty pleas to charges of causing death by dangerous driving and two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. Both individuals have been granted bail and are scheduled to return to the same court for sentencing on Thursday.
