Ports of Jersey has issued a caution regarding a busy Christmas season, with projections indicating that over 20,000 individuals are expected to fly over a four-day span. The operator reported that approximately 218 flights are scheduled at the airport between Friday and Tuesday, with an estimated 22,000 people anticipated to travel. Passengers have been advised to “arrive in good time” for their flights, and the operator noted that queues are to be expected. Ports of Jersey recommended that any gifts carried in hand luggage should remain unwrapped. In addition to the regular services connecting to and from the UK, Ports of Jersey confirmed that charter flights to Tenerife and Madeira would also be operational. “With this many busy flights, passengers can expect some queuing and should therefore leave plenty of time to check in their hold luggage and clear security,” the operator further stated. Ports of Jersey also mentioned that motorists have access to the overflow car park.
