A woman has been jailed following an incident in which she attacked a man’s residence using a hammer and a mallet. Patricia Barron, aged 65, inflicted damage upon the door and a window of the property during the occurrence on Grafton Street in Barnsley, which took place on 27 March. During questioning by law enforcement, she initially asserted that video evidence showing her with the hammer had been manipulated through computer-generated imagery to artificially position the weapon in her hand. Barron, a resident of Grafton Street, received a six-month prison sentence and a three-year restraining order after admitting guilt at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court to two charges of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and one charge of criminal damage. Additionally, she was directed to pay £1,669 in restitution. Post navigation Individual apprehended following knife incident near Parliament Man Receives Life Sentence for Housemate Murders
