Parish officials in Jersey have reported the theft of new road signs from a section of the island. The Parish of St Saviour specified that eight signs, constructed mainly from aluminium, were removed. The parish suspects these signs were targeted for their potential resale value, noting that each sign costs between £250 and £300 to manufacture. According to the parish, the thefts occurred at Mont de la Rosiere, La Rue de Deloraine, La Rue de la Parade, La Rue des Pigneaux, La Rue de la Commune, New York Lane, and two signs were taken from Le Mont es Neaux. The States of Jersey Police confirmed they are aware of these thefts and have urged anyone with relevant information to contact their officers or Crimestoppers.
