For guidance and inspiration, tips from three of England’s Big Picture photographers are available. When emailing photographs, contributors are requested to include specific information. While all submissions are welcome, the BBC prioritizes images captured within the past week for publication. An archive of previously featured pictures is accessible on Instagram, identifiable by the hashtags #bbcsouthnews, #HampshiresBigPicture, and #IsleofWightsBigPicture. By submitting a picture, individuals agree to adhere to the BBC’s Terms and Conditions and its privacy policy. Participation in Hampshire & Isle of Wight’s Big Picture program grants the BBC a royalty-free, non-exclusive license to publish and utilize the submitted material across any media globally, as deemed appropriate. Contributors retain copyright ownership of their submissions to Hampshire & Isle of Wight’s Big Picture. Should an image be selected for publication, the contributor’s name will be credited.
