Law enforcement officials have issued a CCTV image of an individual they wish to interview in connection with the sexual assault of a teenage girl that occurred on a footbridge in Derby. According to Derbyshire Police, the assault on the girl was carried out by a male perpetrator on the structure identified as the Rainbow Bridge. This bridge spans St Alkmund’s Way, situated close to the Leonardo Hotel, and the incident took place around 01:00 GMT on November 15. Authorities are actively seeking to locate the man shown in the image, stating that “he may have information which could help with our investigation”.
