A man and a woman have been taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder after another man was discovered with “significant” injuries inside a flat in East Sussex. Sussex Police reported that officers were dispatched to the residence on Rymill Road, St Leonards, following an assault report received at approximately 17:40 GMT on Monday. The injured individual, a local man in his 40s, was transported to a hospital, where his condition is described as stable. The force indicated that this is being considered an isolated incident, with all parties involved believed to have known each other. Authorities are not currently searching for any other individuals in connection with the case. Sussex Police requests that anyone with information come forward and contact them.
