The minister overseeing the Jersey Ferry tender process has indicated that the selection of its preferred bidder is proceeding as scheduled. Deputy Kirsten Moral, the Minister for Sustainable Economic Development, confirmed that proposals from Brittany Ferries and DFDS are currently undergoing “independently evaluated” assessments. He advised that individuals can commence planning their travel arrangements for periods beyond March 2025 by completing expressions of interest available from both companies. Deputy Moral stated: “As previously stated, we are on track to sign contracts with a new ferry operator before Christmas and to name a preferred bidder in the coming week. Ministers will review the independent evaluator’s recommendation before making a final decision next week, as previously indicated to Scrutiny and in the States Assembly. Islanders can begin planning their travel arrangements for beyond March 2025 by completing expressions of interest that are available from both bidding companies.” Post navigation Paint Manufacturer Expresses Pride in Renewed Royal Warrant Guernsey Water Announces Up to 12% Increase in Household Water Bills for 2025
