Fleetwood Town Ends Striker Mipo Odubeko’s Contract

The sole goal scored by Mipo Odubeko for Fleetwood Town occurred during an EFL Trophy match against Aston Villa in September. Fleetwood Town has terminated the contract of striker Mipo Odubeko, effective immediately. The 22-year-old player became Fleetwood’s seventh acquisition during the summer transfer window upon his arrival in August. Odubeko had been without a club after departing Maritimo, a team in the Portuguese second division, and subsequently signed a one-year agreement. The Republic of Ireland under-21 international participated in 11 games for the club across all competitions, registering a single goal.
