The sale of tickets has commenced for Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 matches to be held in Brighton. The Amex Stadium in Falmer is set to host two group stage fixtures: England, as the host nation, will play Australia on Saturday, September 6, and reigning champions New Zealand will face Ireland on Sunday, September 7. Prospective attendees have a two-week window, concluding on November 19, to submit their applications for tickets. Notifications for successful applicants are scheduled to begin on December 2. Brighton has been designated as one of eight host cities for the 2025 tournament. England’s national team, the Red Roses, will enter the competition recognized as one of the most highly-ranked rugby teams historically. Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club will facilitate the two games at its stadium located in East Sussex. Paul Mullen, the club’s chief operating officer, stated: “Hosting these matches is a huge honour for the club, the stadium and the city.”Brighton & Hove has a great passion for these sporting events, and people will come out to support all the teams, not least the home nation England.”” Council leader Bella Sankey commented: “With such a great line-up, tickets for the games look set to fly. “We look forward to welcoming teams and fans and showcasing our great city to a worldwide audience.””
