Police reported that these incidents took place on Saturday at the Sunbury Cross Centre, located in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey. The perpetrators instructed drivers to make parking payments using a hand-held card machine, which subsequently appeared to retain the cards. Law enforcement officials advised that drivers should only process payments via official ticket machines or the designated online application.
