Blackburn Rovers midfielder Todd Cantwell has expressed confidence that his consistent inclusion in the starting lineup has been instrumental in him regaining his form, coinciding with his return to full fitness after a period of illness. The 26-year-old, a former England under-21 international, joined Rovers in August, having not participated in any of Rangers’ Scottish Premiership fixtures this season. Initially making appearances as a substitute, he has since established himself as a regular in the starting XI. Cantwell has been a starter in Blackburn’s last six Championship matches and is now focused on enhancing his performance further. Speaking to Rovers TV, Cantwell stated, “I’m up to speed now with my fitness, definitely, although I’d been struggling with a bit of illness for the last couple of weeks, so I’d not been 100 percent.” He emphasized his future intentions, adding, “It’s really important now to kick on and show people the fully fit Todd.” Reflecting on his current performance level, he remarked, “I’ve probably only hit 70 percent so far, which can be deemed as good or bad, but that’s an honest reflection.” Post navigation Nassalam to Skip Welsh Grand National Title Defense Squad Updates for Dundee United and St Mirren Match
