A three-month-old infant boy has died after being transported to the hospital following his discovery in an unresponsive state at a residence. Merseyside Police located the child, who was reportedly in critical condition with multiple injuries, at a house in Wirral around midday on Sunday. A 36-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman were apprehended and subsequently charged with causing grievous bodily harm and wounding with intent. Both individuals have made initial appearances before magistrates and are scheduled to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on December 23. According to a spokesperson for the police force, the boy had undergone treatment for his injuries but succumbed on Friday afternoon.
