Swindon Borough Council has introduced a new online platform designed for reporting anti-social behaviour. Residents within Swindon can now submit reports of such incidents directly to the council through this digital service. Anti-social behaviour encompasses actions that cause nuisance, harassment, or distress to individuals or the broader community. Dean Tilling, one of the council’s anti-social behaviour officers, stated: “Each case we resolve is another step towards a stronger, safer Swindon.” The authority indicated that its enforcement team addressed more than 1,100 cases of anti-social behaviour over the past six months. Beyond responding to reported issues, officers also contribute to initiatives such as community clean-up projects. These projects have included the removal of fly-tipping and the clearing of graffiti in Broadgreen. Jim Grant, a Swindon borough councillor, commented: “Our anti-social behaviour officers are a lifeline for many residents who maybe facing disruptive or unsafe situations in their neighbourhoods.“The team’s work not only helps resolve individual cases but also builds a sense of safety and resilience within our communities.” To report anti-social behaviour, residents are advised to search for ‘report ASB’ on the council’s official website.
