Visual representations, which have been presented to planning authorities, illustrate the potential appearance of a forthcoming 120-room hotel situated at Everards Meadows. Preliminary approval for a hotel, to be located opposite the Beer Hall at the Enderby site in Leicestershire, was granted in 2022. This approval also encompassed plans for new offices in the vicinity. Currently, an application has been lodged with Blaby District Council seeking final approval for the four-storey hotel’s configuration, aesthetic, parking facilities, and external grounds. Everards Brewery Ltd, the applicants, stated that although the facility will include a public reception area and two meeting rooms available for guest use, provisions for a bar, restaurant, or external conference rooms are not part of the current plans. According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, documentation provided to the council indicates that this approach aims to motivate hotel patrons to utilize the existing amenities available within Everards Meadows. Should final approval be granted, the hotel would become an addition to the Everards Beer Hall, Rutland Cycling, and Jennos Coffee House at the location near Fosse Park, which commenced operations in 2019. The Everards Meadows site additionally features over 70 acres of open land. Proposals for the subsequent phase of the development, which involves the construction of offices, are scheduled for submission to the council at a future time.
