Two individuals have received prison sentences subsequent to the discovery by police of a cannabis cultivation operation, estimated to yield drugs with a street value of £1 million, within a vacant office premises. The illicit setup was uncovered following a search conducted at the building situated on Queen Street in Morecambe during September. Subsequently, Lancashire Police apprehended Julian Dyrma, 30, and Mikeljantho Hasani, 24. Both men, who were without a permanent residence, were found guilty of producing Class B drugs and received respective sentences at Preston Crown Court: two years for Dyrma and one year and eight months for Hasani.
