Organizations in Plymouth are set to participate in a national initiative this week, focusing on addressing anti-social behaviour. Throughout the week, various activities will be conducted across the city, aiming to encourage communities to actively oppose anti-social conduct. The campaign is scheduled from November 18-24 and involves key agencies such as Plymouth City Council, Devon & Cornwall Police, and Plymouth’s housing associations. Councillor Sally Haydon, the cabinet member for community safety, stated that the council is “determined to create a safe and peaceful Plymouth”. Haydon further commented: “We hope to reach out to our communities and give our residents the confidence to report anti-social behaviour and know they are being listened to. “Every community should feel safe, every individual should feel respected, and everyone should feel free to get on with their life without being subjected to nuisance or harmful anti-social behaviour.” Events are planned for Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with further information available.
