Blackburn Rovers’ loan arrangement with Liverpool, often referred to as the Reds, is once again proving beneficial through the acquisition of Owen Beck. This follows Beck’s successful period in Scotland last season and his pre-season training with Liverpool. In recent seasons, Rovers have previously secured loans for players such as Harvey Elliott, Billy Koumetio, Leighton Clarkson, and Tyler Morton. A potential loan for Sepp van den Berg was also considered but ultimately cancelled at the final moment. Beck has established himself in the left-back position, following an impressive initial appearance against Burnley. The sole setback occurred with a late red card during a match at Preston, which led to his suspension for three games. His performance has been characterized by continuous activity, demonstrating strong one-on-one defensive skills and an equally effective contribution in offensive plays. He has also taken on responsibilities for set-pieces. It is evident that Blackburn Rovers’ supporters have quickly developed a strong admiration for him.
