Numerous charges have been brought against two men following a three-vehicle collision that resulted in the death of a driver and serious injuries to a child. A 29-year-old man is facing six charges, which include drug driving, causing death by dangerous driving, and failing to stop after a collision. The second man, aged 33, has been charged with four offenses, including causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop after a collision. The incident occurred on Saturday at approximately 18:15 GMT on the A483, specifically at Belan, close to Welshpool in Powys. The child, who required airlifting to a hospital for treatment, was a passenger in the white Toyota Yaris where the fatality occurred at the scene. The Toyota Yaris was traveling southbound, while the other vehicles involved, a red BMW X3 and a blue Audi S4, were proceeding northbound. Dyfed-Powys Police continue to solicit information regarding the incident, urging any witnesses to contact them.
