An individual has entered a not guilty plea to a charge of causing death by dangerous driving. This follows the death of a 17-year-old girl in an incident where a car struck a tree. West Mercia Police reported that the vehicle veered off the road and collided on 28 November, on the B4376 close to Much Wenlock, Shropshire. Madison Evans, identified as a passenger in the vehicle, was discovered in a critical state and subsequently passed away at the location of the crash. Sean Cox, aged 20, residing at Severn Way, Shrewsbury, submitted his plea at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Tuesday. He was subsequently granted bail. His trial has been scheduled for 10 November 2025.
