The previously unexplained death of a man in Stafford last year has now been determined by police to be non-suspicious. Lee Harrison, 42, from Stafford, was discovered deceased inside a property on Oberton Gardens on November 21, 2023, after emergency services responded to reports concerning his welfare. Staffordshire Police indicated that a 31-year-old man, also from Stafford, was apprehended on suspicion of murder and subsequently released. Following an inquest conducted on November 21 of this year, it was concluded that Mr Harrison’s death resulted from mixed drug toxicity. Officers confirmed they are continuing to offer support to his family. Detective Inspector Ian Fitzgerald stated: “My thoughts and condolences are still very much with Lee’s family who are still coming to terms with their tragic loss.” He further expressed: “I’d like to thank everyone in the local community who engaged with officers and helped us to gather evidence needed to assist His Majesty’s Coroner and to give the family closure on this investigation.” Post navigation Gang Jailed for Openreach Cable Thefts, Costing BT £1 Million Police Seek Public Assistance After Burglary and Vehicle Theft in Plymouth
