Marco Silva has expressed his “very proud” involvement in Raul Jimenez’s return to form at Fulham. The Mexican forward is scheduled to compete against one of his former clubs when Wolves visit Craven Cottage this Saturday. Silva stated, “We are really pleased with his momentum and the way we helped him get back to his best again.” He continued, “The way he is helping us win football matches is why we trusted him when no-one in the Premier League trusted him. We are the ones that trusted him in a difficult moment of his career.” Jimenez had suffered a severe injury, and at the time of his acquisition by Fulham, he had gone nearly 20 Premier League matches without scoring. Silva emphasized that Fulham’s belief in the player is now yielding positive results, evident both currently and during certain periods of the previous season. He added, “We are very proud of how is performing and helping him reach a good level again.” Further elaborating on his role, Silva remarked, “This is my job. If I have the players in my hand, one thing that they know is that I am always, always going to protect them. I am going to help them reach the standards that I think are important to play.” He concluded by stating, “They are my players. I am here to help them in all aspects of the game and in other aspects of their life as well. This is the reason I am here.” Post navigation Ruud van Nistelrooy Awaits Clarity on Manchester United Future Chris Sutton’s Premier League Predictions: Leicester City vs. Wolves
