The commanding officer at RNAS Culdrose has honored Samuel Vass, a 22-year-old engineer, following his death in a road traffic collision. Captain James Hall stated: “Our thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of Air Engineer Technician Samuel Vass who sadly died following a collision near Culdrose on Saturday.” He added, “We also extend those thoughts to anyone else who was involved or impacted by the collision as well as their friends and family.” The incident on Saturday also resulted in two other individuals being transported to the hospital. Captain Hall expressed gratitude to both the emergency services and personnel from the air station for their response to the event.
