Ipswich Town has announced it is “deeply saddened” by the death of former striker Trevor Whymark, who died earlier this week at the age of 74. Whymark made his initial appearance for the Suffolk club in 1970 and accumulated 335 appearances before his departure to Derby County in 1979.
