A van driver was transported to the hospital with serious injuries after their vehicle collided with a police car. Norfolk Police reported that the incident took place on Thursday at approximately 16:14 GMT on the A47 at Terrington St John, near King’s Lynn. The collision occurred while the police force was providing assistance to a broken-down vehicle. The crash resulted in the road being closed for several hours. The force confirmed that it has referred the incident to its professional standards department, stating that this is “standard procedure.”
