A man has died after being struck by a motorcycle in Leeds on Monday. West Yorkshire Police were alerted at 15:00 GMT to reports of a collision involving a blue Voge 125cc motorcycle and a man on Great George Street in Leeds. Officers stated that the 65-year-old pedestrian was transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries a short time later. The motorcyclist, a 26-year-old man, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He was also taken to hospital for treatment of facial injuries. The street was closed to traffic following the incident and was subsequently reopened just after 21:00 GMT. Police are appealing for anyone who was in the vicinity and witnessed the incident, or possesses dashcam footage, to contact them.
