A dog was seized by police in Lancashire after it was abandoned during a pursuit of poachers. The officers pursued the group, believed to be engaged in the poaching of hare and deer, across fields situated in the Ballam Road area of Lytham on Saturday evening. This action followed an alert from a local farmer. According to Lancashire Police, the individuals escaped in a Subaru vehicle, but in their hurried departure, they abandoned one of their dogs.
