Strong winds are anticipated to affect south-east England this weekend as Storm Darragh impacts the UK. Kent, Surrey, East Sussex, and West Sussex have all received a yellow weather warning from the Met Office, effective from Friday at 15:00 GMT until Sunday at 06:00 GMT. This warning signifies that delays across road, air, rail, and sea travel are “likely,” according to the weather service. The Met Office has also advised that debris propelled by the southerly winds could lead to damage to both roads and houses. Last month, the South East region experienced flood alerts and weather warnings, which were issued following Storm Bert.
