Police have launched an appeal for information concerning the death of a 73-year-old man, who was fatally struck by a car in Derbyshire. According to police statements, the collision took place on Station Road, Darley Dale, approximately at 17:30 GMT on 9 December. The police force stated that the driver of the silver VW Polo stayed at the scene following the event, which occurred near the intersection of Old Road and Church Road. This individual is currently aiding officers with their investigations. Police also confirmed that the man’s family has been notified of his death and reiterated their call for anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
