Operations conducted by police in Wolverhampton have focused on addressing knife crime, weapons, and anti-social behaviour. West Midlands Police reported that “weapons sweeps” were carried out at Fowlers Park and Bee Lane playing fields. Additionally, city centre officers engaged with traders in Blakenhall to discuss regulations pertaining to knife sales. As part of activities designed to increase awareness of anti-social behaviour, officers partnered with Wolverhampton Homes to speak with business owners in Wednesfield and Heath Town.
