An arrest has been made after a man sustained injuries in what is believed to be a shooting. Police reported that the victim, aged in his 50s, was shot in the leg. This occurred after an individual arrived in a grey Seat Ibiza on Wasps Nest Road in Huddersfield, subsequently “discharged a suspected firearm,” and then departed the scene. The injured man has since been discharged from the hospital. West Yorkshire Police confirmed that a 33-year-old man has been taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently being held. Authorities from West Yorkshire Police have issued an appeal for witnesses, urging anyone who observed the incident, which took place on Monday around 08:50 GMT, to get in touch with officers.
