A male individual has passed away following a motor vehicle accident in Port Glasgow, where the car he was occupying collided with a stationary vehicle. The incident occurred on Clune Brae at approximately 21:55 on Monday, when a Volkswagen Golf struck an empty Peugeot car. The passenger, aged 38, was declared deceased at the site of the crash. According to Police Scotland, the 50-year-old female driver, who received medical attention at a hospital subsequent to the impact, was taken into custody and subsequently released while investigations are ongoing. Law enforcement officers, currently examining the circumstances surrounding the collision, have issued a request for individuals possessing any relevant information to present it.
